Alumni: The Travellers

With the annual YFC National Conference fast approaching, we’re keen to hear how you first got involved with YFC.

Lloyd Miller recently shared how his involvement in YFC in the 1980s led to him becoming a founding member of The Travellers – a band that toured Australia until the 1990s.

The band had one purpose and that was to lead young people to Jesus,” shares Lloyd.

Each year around 12 young mission-minded singers and musicians were chosen to spend the year on the road, performing in schools, prisons, churches and community venues.

“At one concert, we had 760 youth turning up in this little country town. And of that 760 we had 150 respond to Jesus!” Lloyd remembers joyfully.
