The Ipswich branch has been pioneering a number of innovative potential enhancement programs for 15 - 16 year old 'Youth at Risk'. These programs run for 70mins a week over two Terms.
- It is action-based learning with three days away using adventure camping resources.
- In utilising the 'V.I.T.A.L.' paradigm of training (an experiential style of leadership development) it continues to have very successful outcomes.
- We try to empower them to have positive attitudes no matter what environment they find themselves in.
- We feel it is important that young people recognise their power of choice and through their individual efforts, make a positive contribution to the community of which they are an integral part. In this we are making "learners of the Good News".
