The Ipswich branch has been pioneering a number of innovative potential enhancement programs for 15 - 16 year old 'Youth at Risk'. These programs run for 70mins a week over two Terms.
It is action-based learning with three days away using adventure camping resources.
In utilising the 'V.I.T.A.L.' paradigm of training (an experiential style of leadership development) it continues to have very successful outcomes.
We try to empower them to have positive attitudes no matter what environment they find themselves in.
We feel it is important that young people recognise their power of choice and through their individual efforts, make a positive contribution to the community of which they are an integral part. In this we are making "learners of the Good News".
