Southern Youth Services Housing Program
Regional Youth Accommodation Program

These programs are designed to support and accommodate young people (aged 15-21 both male and female) who have become homeless due to domestic violence, family breakdown, sexual, physical or emotional abuse, drug / alcohol issues. They have the following aims:

• To encourage the development of independent living skills to help young people into independence.

• To help reunite families where appropriate by providing support for those families.

• To help resident's personal skill development in areas of: communication, conflict resolution, self-esteem, fulfilling a useful role and development of realistic life goals.

• To help residents to get financial support, job training, life skill's training, health care, advocacy, legal services and education.

• To support young people leaving supported residential accommodation.
