<Back to Programs

The R.A.P. program provides local high schools with an alternative to suspension of students who are a disruptive influence in the school and are at risk of leaving the education system too early through disenchantment, suspension or expulsion.

  • It is aimed at students aged 13-17 and in particular those in years eight and nine.
  • The program operates for eight weeks, two hours per week or four weeks 1 day a week.
  • Included is a two-night expedition run towards the completion of the program, to further enhance skills learnt in the previous weeks.
  • Key focus areas are: relationship building, communication, teamwork, problem solving and self assessment.
