Wilderness/Adventure Programs

Adventure Plus aims to create a positive learning environment to engage young people in adventure activities that are challenging, exciting and achievable. The great outdoors offers a unique setting to positively influence the lives of young people.

• We offer young people opportunities on expeditions and adventure weekends/days that incorporate; team building initiatives, hike and rafting trips, abseiling, rock climbing, high and low rope courses and canoeing.

• Participants are encouraged to think, reflect, ask questions and begin a personal search for significance and meaning.  

• They have the opportunity to experience adventure and fun, build friendships and learn new skills and values so that   they receive positive input into personality and character areas such as: confidence, self-esteem, sense of value and worth, trust, accepting responsibility and gaining a sense of hope and direction for the future.
