YFC Central Coast is seeking a self-motivated, committed Christian who is passionate about ministry to young people and feels “called” to take on the part-time (16 hours/week split over 2 days) position of Schools Ministry Facilitator.

The applicant will be involved in the running of our schools ministry programs – No Limits, Mentoring, AusLife, Camps and building relationships in an ongoing basis in the high school/s they are allocated.

The applicant must have experience working with young people, a servant heart, and willingness to be trained.

Schools Ministry - Hunter Region

These positions involve assisting in the planning, implementation and operation of two different High School Programs throughout the Hunter Region.

YFC Melbourne are URGENTLY seeking one male lead tenant to live with homeless young men (Mitcham). This support aims to model a Christian lifestyle, to assist young people move beyond current circumstances, realise their potential in life and develop independent living skills. We also seeking male and female relieving lead tenants to live in while Lead Tenants are away.

Teenage Foster Care - Melbourne

YFC Melbourne are seeking Foster Carers and Lead Tenants. Foster Care aims to find safe and supportive homes for children and teenagers who are unable to live with their own family for a period of time. During this time the young person may keep in touch with their birth parent(s), brothers, sisters and other family members if appropriate. The aim of Foster Care is to make sure that the children get the close, caring relationships that they need until they can return home.

Foster Care can make a substantial difference in a young life - more carers are urgently needed.

Teenage Foster Care program aims to accommodate young people (male and female 12-18 years) in community homes either with single people, couples or families. We aim to match young people to a suitable foster care placement. YFC’s experienced youth workers train and support Christian carers to impact these young people in need. Some reimbursement is also made to assist carers with expenses. You may be interested in providing emergency, respite or long term foster care... YFC would appreciate hearing from any person who feels called to ministering to young people and has a spare bedroom or is willing to live as a lead tenant carer in a house provided by YFC.

Multimedia

Video Editor - Western Australia

YFC Western Australia is seeking a self-motivated, committed Christian with video editing skills. The applicant will need to be passionate about using multimedia technology as a tool to help connect & communicate with young people. The applicant will work as part of our Video Production Department. Depending on the applicant, this could be a full-time or part-time position.

The role will include editing (you will be involved in the scripting and filming process too) a variety of video projects produced specifically for use in YFC outreach programs and the promotion of YFC. The applicant will also have opportunities for ‘hands-on’ ministry through our outreach programs.

The applicant must have video editing experience. Tertiary media qualifications and experience with Final Cut Pro is preferable but not essential. Some training will be provided. The applicant will need to have a good work ethic, be a team player who has a creative streak and is also able to work to a schedule.
