What Is Auslife?

Auslife is a full day interactive and fast-paced seminar designed for senior high school students aged between 15 and 18. Auslife has a great reputation for engaging students in a compelling way, focused on values, relationships and challenges they face in everyday life.

There are three one-day seminars to choose from: Goals and Values, Relationships and Self Esteem.

Trained staff run the program, working with the school and volunteers from the local community and also following up students to offer ongoing support and more information as needed. The seminars are based on the Christian faith and complements curriculum studies.

Auslife seminars are scripted down to the minute and are adapted to match school bell times. The sessions keep the attention of students as they are encouraged to think and reflect, ask questions and begin a personal search for meaning and significance.

Using everything including interactive competitions and simulation exercises, small group discussions and large group forums, live music and video presentations… Auslife is experiential, discovery-based learning. Students are encouraged to draw their own conclusions on a range of issues and ‘own’ those decisions for themselves.

Auslife Feedback

' I really enjoyed the workshop today. It really made me reflect on my life and the people I associate with. It was very exciting and a nice way to have fun and forget about Year 12, and the pressure and stress I'm dealing with at the moment. Thanks so much for your time and effort' (Corryong College. Year 12 student, 2009)
