Free training nights are run throughout the year for anyone in the Melbourne area who works with youth. The Sessions run for two hours where facilitators provide youth relevant, interactive, workshop style training.

These nights are a great way to learn new information and ways to deal with at risk youth, along with connecting with others who are working in the field. . . . .

Youth Quakes are huge, action packed, high-energy events that YFC run in conjunction with local churches in a specific region. In summer they are held at swimming pool locations (PoolQuake) and at halls or gyms in winter (IndoorQuake).

They utilise various activities ranging from a Horizontal Bungee, 'Waterbomb Mania' to 'King of the mountain'.

YouthQuakes entice and motivate youth involvement in a fun and exciting atmosphere. As well as having a good time with friends, they also have an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

VITAL is a training process that provides ann effective framework for youth wortkers to use whenever working with a variety of young people. It is particularly effective when working with 'youth at risk'.

During the course, participants are trained to run "No Limits" - a school-based program that has met with outstanding results in assisting young people to value and explore their potential.

While focus is placed on the "No Limits" program, the VITAL training process is transferable to working with all types of groups and situations (leadership programs, camps, youth groups, bible studies).

DARE (Dalby and Regional Evangelism) Ministry Team began out of a desire to bring young people from most of the local churches, and their friends from the community, together.

The team, sponsored by YFC, is comprised of local youth leaders who meet quarterly to arrange suitable events. Events include Volleyball and Touch Football afternoons and annual Youth Dinners.

Each event has a speaker who has provided challenging message suited to the occasion. Excellent ministry has taken place at these gatherings and the lives of many young people have been changed as a result.
