Next Step is an activity-based program that runs at Parkville Youth Justice Residential Centre.
Each week a team attends the Centre to spend time with the girls. Activities such as art, craft, music and drama provide the opportunity for the team to initiate conversations with the girls and build relationships with them. A non-judgmental listening ear is just what the girls need. The relationship is often continued once the girls are released from the Centre.
